Tá lá no site oficial do Arcade Fire o aviso de que um single chamado The Suburbs/Month of May será lançado em breve. O que esperemos que seja o prenúncio de um novo LP. Tá mais do que na hora!

Em 12 de julho teremos o lançamento de The Place We Ran From, primeiro disco do Tired Pony, projeto paralelo formado basicamente por Gary Lightbody (Snow Patrol) e Peter Buck (R.E.M.). De acordo com o idealizador Gary, “(…) it’s inspired by my love of Wilco, Calexico, Lambchop, Palace, Smog — these bands that look at the darkness in America”.

Por falar em R.E.M., a Deluxe Edition para Fables of the Reconstruction sairá no dia 13 de julho. Fables of the Reconstruction foi lançado originalmente em 1985 e seus antecessores Murmur e Reckoning já ganharam suas edições especiais. Seria bem legal que esses lançamentos seguissem até, digamos, New Adventures in Hi-fi. Mas imagino que deve parar ali pelo Green. O tracklist de Fables of the Reconstruction segue abaixo:
